BOND is BACK on the big screen! Several times this year as it marks the 50th anniversary of the fourth Bond film ‘THUNDERBALL’ (1965) and because the new film ‘SPECTRE’ will be coming to cinemas in October.

007Travelers, two very successful Bond bloggers from Finland, have organised a special birthday screening event for ‘THUNDERBALL’ in Helsinki, the capital city of Finland. They are supported by the National Audiovisual Institute (KAVI) that will provide a 35mm archive copy of the film from the 1980s. The screening will be held on August 15 at the Orion cinema where 216 seats are eagerly waiting to be occupied by Bond- and Film fans. Tickets are available for € 8,00 and you can order via the homepage of the National Audiovisual Institute.

The 007Travelers, Pirita & Mika, will formally open the event to which guests are invited to dress up like James Bond or a Bond Girl. Dressing up in evening attire has always set a Bond screening apart from any other film presentation and thus make the event all the more special. Photographers will be on standby for anyone who would like to have their picture taken on the night. There will also be a lottery in which you have the chance to win an autographed photo showing the ‘THUNDERBALL’ Bond Girls, signed by actress Martine Beswick who played Paula Caplan in the film.

In addition, you have the chance to win 2×2 tickets to the event by answering a question related to the film. The contest ends on 17 May 2015 at 23.59 (CET).
