Hello loyal readers. After a short hiatus, I’m back, with the past week’s news (more like a week and a half). What’s been going on in the world of Bond? Let’s get to it.
Headlines
Barbara Broccoli hinted that some big news may be revealed regarding Bond 25. Stay tuned.
In sad news, camera operator Mark Milsome, who worked on Quantum of Solace, died while filming a stunt sequence for a new BBC series. He was 54.

Winter is Coming
Dynamite Entertainment announced that a new James Bond one-shot comic will be released next year. Like Felix Leiter and Monepenny, the story will focus on one of Bond’s MI6 allies: this time, M. The comic will be written by Declan Shalvey (Deadpool Vs. Old Man Logan) with art by P.J. Holden (2000 AD, Judge Dredd).
Composer Danny Elfman praised the producers of James Bond films, when he noted that on the case of franchise film music, “(Directors) need to learn the incredible lesson that Star Wars and James Bond have known for ages, which is that keeping these musical connections alive is incredibly satisfying for the people who see those films.”
