New rumor: Christopher Nolan to helm Bond 25
By David Pegram
Well, here we go again! A Spanish Bond site, naming anonymous inside sources, is suggesting that Christopher Nolan will be directing Bond 25.
EON Productions has neither confirmed nor denied the report. According to Barbara Broccoli, an announcement on the director could be made early next year.

“We’ve got the biggest and most important piece in place, which is Daniel,” Broccoli had said. “I’m very happy that he’s coming back…We’ve got our Daniel; we’ve got to find the director. We’re working on the script and we’ll see… Hopefully by the beginning of the year we’ll have more news on all those fronts.”
Now, even Esquire UK has picked up on the rumor and reported it. Nolan’s odds, they say, based on bookmaker Ladbrokes, is at 2-1. Is this simply click bait or has this story become too hot to ignore? Only time will tell.
Nolan’s name popped up earlier this year when his production company, Syncopy, was listed as producer of Bond 25, on the Internet Movie Database. His latest film, Dunkirk, was released earlier this year to critical acclaim and box office success.
Bond 25 is not set or release until fall of 2019. Daniel Craig has already announced his return.
